Windows Azure Platform: March 1st Links
March 1, 2011 1 Comment
I’m starting a new link listing series, which will list recent links that I have come across to valuable, interesting Windows Azure Platform material. Hopefully you will find some of these interesting as well…
- Windows Azure Storage Architecture Overview: The Windows Azure Storage Team blog provides a pretty cool explanation of the architecture of the Windows Azure Storage service, and its different layers.
- Windows Azure Code Samples Forum: Vote on what code samples you would like to see around the Windows Azure Platform. I thought this was interesting because of the top 2 samples requested: SSO Application and Windows Phone 7 and Windows Azure. There are some good samples for these already out there today. Sample around SSO (via ACS) and WP7 can be found in the updated Windows Azure Platform Training Kit. The Identity Training Kit and Online Course also has good identity-based labs.
- Cloud Cover on Channel9: Multiple Sites in a Web Role: I really enjoy this blog series, and the latest episode covers how to take advantage of the Full IIS features of the 1.3 SDK to run multiple web sites within a web role.
- Using MSBuild to Deploy to Multiple Windows Azure Environments: Tom Hollander has a nice blog post about using MSBuild with TFS 2010 and Visual Studio 2010 for Windows Azure projects.
- Introduction to the Windows Azure AppFabric Blog Series: The AppFabric team has a new series of blog posts that summarize the Windows Azure AppFabric offering. Here are links to Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.
Happy reading…
